   Heidi & Leo have been competing together since 2004, starting out at beginner novice and working their way up through training level.  Leo's talents shine on the cross country course where he usually has a double clean round no matter what the level.  He is an excellent jumper with a lot of enthusiasm for his job.

  Heidi bought Leo as a green 5 year old and began his eventing career.  Even after Heidi moved on to her next horse, Leo was then leased out to several different riders, teaching them confidence over fences, as he turned out to be one of the best horses to ride in the show jump.  In 2010 after moving out to Virginia, Leo was sold to a talented young rider.  She hopes to take "Apollo" out at the preliminary level in 2011.

In 2004, Leo & Heidi ranked 4th among Senior Beginner Novice riders in the Central Colorado Chapter of the Mountain States Eventing Association.  The same year, Leo also ranked 5th among the leading Senior Novice horses.
