  Starting out with dressage lessons at 11 years old, Heidi has been riding and showing for 15 years.  After competing in dressage on her first horse and then spending two years conditioning endurance horses, Heidi branched out into eventing in 2001 and has never looked back.  She has had lots of experience training young and green horses and working with various thoroughbreds and arabians that have been retired from the racetrack.  In 2008, Heidi travelled to Virginia with her horse Moving Illusion and spent 18 months as a working student for Phyllis Dawson.  During this time, Heidi competed up to the preliminary level and worked with a variety of horses, from young and green to experienced event horses.  Heidi returned to Colorado in late 2009 to teach and train and share what she has learned and hopes to improve riders skills and general horse care knowledge.
